Our Story
Ol' Rodeos started with a simple conviction: people deserve bread that tastes like bread, and a grocery store that stocks things they actually want to buy. Not mystery ingredients. Not mass-produced filler. Just honest food, made locally, sold at a fair price.
We're on Broadway in El Cajon — not because it's trendy, but because it's where our customers live, shop, and walk their dogs. Every sourdough loaf, every jar of jam, every carton of eggs on our shelves is chosen the way we'd choose it for our own tables.
That doesn't mean we're fancy. It means we're careful. And it means when you step through our door, you're stepping into a place that takes its craft seriously — without taking itself too seriously.
What We Do
Sourdough with a crust that cracks when you press it. Croissants that actually flake. Rolls, focaccia, pies, and pastries pulled from the oven before the morning rush. If it comes from our kitchen, it's baked that day — no exceptions.
